9/9/26 - Farm update

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend! We have been busy shipping out everyone's orders and are all caught up for now. We will go back to the schedule of shipping on Mondays. Tracking numbers will be sent once your order is processed.

It is garlic festival time! We will be at the Webster Garlic Fest, this weekend 9/12-9/13. We have been busy packing up lots of garlic and would love to see all of our local garlic lovers so come on down and visit us. $5 admission is donated to Gold Star and Blue Star Mothers as well as Wreaths across America. Lots of vendors of all types, food trucks and the best selection of garlic from us and our fellow farmers.

Our Story

We are a small family run farm growing garlic using organic practices. We started small growing only about 100 head of garlic for us and to share with family and friends. As we gave away more and more, People loved it! We started to slowly increase and wanted to seek out varieties that would be well suited to our area in Western NY.

How to Properly Cure Garlic for Long-Lasting Flavor

Since we are in the midst of our curing process, I thought I might share some more information on why it is so important and how we make sure our garlic is ready for storage. If you store it too soon, moisture trapped in the neck and wrappers can lead to mold, sprouting, soft cloves, and wasted bulbs. 2026 Spring update

Happy Spring, finally! It has been a long and cold winter and despite that the garlic is thriving in the cool wet weather. A couple of weeks ago we had just completed covering all of the garlic and shallots with row covers in anticipation of the first flight of the Allium leaf miner. They typically arrive here in late April with the first wave in NY being over by mid June. That usually coincides nicely with when the garlic begins to produce its scapes and we can remove them

2025 Wrap-up

Wow! 2025 was a great year! Despite weather challenges we had a really good harvest, and we are currently sold out of almost everything. We attended our first garlic festival, Webster Garlic fest, which was a smashing success. It was great to talk "garlic" with all of our customers and make some new friends. We are planning to attend again next year. All of our planting for next year has been completed and we tested out the new dibbler. It has saved us so much time in plan
