French Grey shallots are a true shallot that is propagated from bulbs only. An heirloom variety, earthy flavor prized by chefs. They are mild and sweet, making them ideal for using them raw. Roast or sautee for a sweet and delicious treat.
Planted in the fall for harvest in summer. Does not store as long as other shallots, only 2-3 months so use quickly or plant for next years harvest.
