A softneck, artichoke variety that has 8-12, sometimes more cloves per head. One of the few softnecks that is adapted to growing in the North and can be grown successfully here. Milder taste than average hardneck varieties. Stores beautifully, up to 8 months with proper conditions. Great for making decorative braids!
